Isla Lang Fisher (pronounced /’a?l?/; born 3 February 1976) is a Scottish-Australian actress and author. Fisher spent her early years in Bathgate before moving with her family to Perth, Western Australia, when she was six years old. Fisher has said that she had a “great” upbringing in Perth with a “very outdoorsy life”. She attended Methodist Ladies’ College and appeared in lead roles in school productions.
